How it works: With the help of the attachment, the disc is slightly lifted from the bottom of the vessel. This allows the heat to escape better and the air bubbles to distribute better. The likelihood of heat build-up, especially with milk that is trapped between the disc and the cup, is significantly reduced.

Note: An S-disc (primarily for baby bottles) with an attached attachment may have a diameter that is too large for some drinking bottles. Since you shouldn't heat the milk to more than 38°C anyway, the S-disc can also be used in fatty milk without an attachment, especially if you stir it. We generally recommend stirring regularly with the stick, even when using turtles.
